How I Think about the Therapy Process

We will work together to increase your inherent strengths as well as learn new ways to heal from traumatic experiences. After working for years in integrative health care settings, I gained a deep understanding about the impact that traumatic events including health problems have on our physical and emotional wellbeing. My goal is to support you in healing to live your life more fully.

Who I Best Work With

I specialize in treating individuals who have experienced trauma, chronic pain, or illness. Many of my clients come to therapy still suffering despite prior treatments and are seeking innovative approaches to healing. After being in therapy together, my clients often say that their problems feel manageable, their behaviors have changed for the better, they have healthier relationships, and they have a sense of purpose in their lives.

Specialty Training and Services

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and graduated with a doctorate from the Washington School of Professional Psychology. I am also a certified psychedelic assisted therapy provider (PATP) and completed a yearlong training program at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in partnership with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). I offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and feminist therapy. I am joined in session by my therapy dog, Lucille. Additionally, I provide forensic evaluations and psychological assessments.

Who I Am Outside of Work            

I treasure spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I love exploring the beach, creating in the kitchen, going to Pilates class, or attending live music events. I am passionate about being in nature and seeking new adventures.
